What We Do
Chief Lutumba Mining Community, collects gold from local miners and puts it in the chief’s palace storage as we are looking for international markets to sell the gold. After selling we plan to use the profits that come out of the gold sales to render support to our community of local miners. The support offered goes especially to the vulnerable people in the community i.e.; the lame, widows, orphans, pregnant women going to give birth, build hospitals to improve the health of our community, the elderly among others and also to improve the infrastructure.
Currently we also offer livelihood support in terms of sewing machines, salon equipment, ground nut grinding machines, animal rearing, education, the support empowers our people to have a living on top of the little they earn from mining.

Chief Lutumba wants to improve the lives of his local community people using the available natural resources of Gold. His main mission is to create partners on the international market who can be able to buy the available Gold always in time so that his people can have all the basic necessities of life i.e. food, safe water, shelter, clothing, and medically necessary health care.

Small-scale gold mines are the world’s largest source of mercury emissions. Mercury is harmful to miners using it and the surrounding environment. We need help with mercury-free processing equipment to reduce the risk for miners in our communities.

Due to the increased number of Orphan children in Congo who have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDs, Accidents, and other diseases. These children especially orphaned Children are missing out on education and some children have become homeless due to domestic violence in relative families.
